Products For Home Detoxification

Now that we know some of the basics of home detoxification, how can we assist our clients to boost their treatments at home while also boosting our bottom line through increased retail sales?

Each of the following products has been selected to assist your clients every step of the way through their bathing experience that can increase their detoxification results through the power of essential oils and other botanical extracts that can be absorbed through the skin and add extra levels of luxury for an at-home spa experience.

What key products should you consider retailing?

Exfoliating Body Mousse

We are starting out this list with a scrub that can accompany home dry brushing treatments for superior results.

The Eve Taylor Exfoliating Body Mousse uses gentle abrasive action on the skin via sea salt and poppy seeds to assist the skin’s desquamation process by removing excess dead corneocyte cells, thus enhancing the skin’s natural ability to excrete toxins from the pores. Coconut-based surfactants create a foaming hydrating cleanse on the skin when activated with water.

Having clients use this product at home, instruct them to dry brush prior to their bath or shower, and once intake some of the Exfoliating BodyMousse to damp hands and massage into skin in circular motions adding water as needed. You can have it sit on the skin for a few minutes to provide nourishment to the skin and then the product will easily wash off leaving the skin feeling soft to the touch.

Corelle Body Wash & Sower Gel

Next up we have selected one of our amazing shower gels, that provides not only a pH-balanced cleansing action to the skin but also balances the body and mind through its essential oil benefits. The Ylang Ylang in the Corelle Body Wash cleanses the skin while calming the body and uplifting the mind. Lemongrass also provides great cleansing action to the skin while geranium is known as a great balancer for both body and mind, supports cellular healing and has diuretic properties.

This can be used as a body cleanser, as a bath additive for an aromatic and detoxifying bubble bath, or added to cleansing and exfoliating clothes for a quick clean.

No. 11 Eliminating Body Serum

Next up we have chosen two different concentrated essential oils serums in a base of cold-pressed oils that were specifically formulated for body detoxification.

The first one is our No.11 Eliminating Body Serum. This is for anyone who needs draining assistance due to an excess of fluid, cellular toxins and overall support your elimination systems.

This serum should be used for your clients who are showing early stages of tissue stagnation and puffiness, specifically clientele that have occupations that require them to sit for extended periods of time resulting in poor or sluggish circulation. This serum has a beautiful blend of detoxifying essential oils to get the lymphatic system going.

Sage, rosemary, pepper, marjoram, and lavender all have diuretic properties to help eliminate the excess fluid.

As mentioned earlier, rosemary helps reduce gas within the digestive system, assisting with bloating a common effect of toxin overload, helps with digestion and has diuretic properties, increases blood flow while also assisting bile production to support liver and gallbladder functionality during the detox process.

Black Pepper increases the circulation and warmth of the body alongside marjoram. Juniper berry has detoxification properties that will assist the elimination while the circulation is now being stimulated to drain the excess out of the body.

When using No.11 Eliminating Body Serum, apply 1-2 pumps to the back of the legs, arms and stomach and gently use the tips of your fingers to smooth and stroke into the skin for best absorption.

No. 302 Cellulite Body Serum

The second serum we have chosen is what we like to consider Step 2 in the detoxification at-home process if you have clients that have a more immediate and larger need for detoxification due to a heavy toxic build-up, severe bloating or developed cellulite. Commonly recommended to those with sedentary lifestyles who do not get much exercise.

No. 302 Cellulite Body Serum uses a mixture of cinnamon, sweet fennel, cypress, geranium, grapefruit, lemon, juniper berry, and thyme for their incredible detoxifying properties.

Diuretic properties are a big benefit looked for in blends like these to aid in the secretion and expulsion of urine, a major component of the detox process when riding the body of toxins. Oils such as sweet fennel, geranium, grapefruit, lemon, and thyme hold these properties thus enhancing the detox benefits of this oil.

Another way we excrete toxins from our body is through pores on the skin so properties increasing perspiration through the sudoriferous glands are beneficial and can be found in oils such as cypress and juniper berry.

Carminative properties settle the digestive system and excess gas from the intestines, again a common indicator of severe toxic overload in the body which can be found in oils like cinnamon and thyme.

Finally, depurative properties (purify body and blood) will also play a big role in cleansing, which can be given properties to the body via sweet fennel, grapefruit, lemon, and juniper berry.

To use at home use a few pumps on the back of the legs, and abdomen area, stroking into the skin with the tips of your fingers, and can even add to the bottom of your feet. Make sure the client knows it is very important to drink water when doing these more intensive homecare detoxes to avoid dehydration and support a healthy functioning body that will make the process more successful.

Detox Massage & Bath Blend

The Eve Taylor Massage and Bath Oils are easily one of the most diverse products on this list and an absolute must-have for retailing.

Detox Massage & Bath Blend uses the same essential oil cocktail found in the No. 302 Cellulite Body Serum but is in a larger base of cold-pressed oils creating a phenomenal multi-use product that can be used for massage, hydration, and bathing.

The synergistic blend of cinnamon, grapefruit, sweet fennel, juniper berry, geranium, lemon, cypress and thyme helps boost circulation to increase the elimination of toxins stored in the body, thus reducing the appearance of fluid retention, congested skin bloating or cellulite.

It can be used for massage at home applied topically to the skin, or you can add 4 to 6 pumps of the blend into a bath and sit and relax for 10 minutes soaking in the oils. To top it off, this can also be added to daily body moisturizers or used on its own for anyone experiencing particularly dry, tight flaky skin on their body to combat living in dry environments.

Cellu-Lose Contour Cream

Finally, we have our last moisturizer on the list, the Cellu-Lose Contour Cream. This cream uses key ingredients to not only moisturize the skin but also assist with detoxification which helps eliminate fluid retention, a factor that can over time develop into very congested deposits that are hard to move (cellulite).

This cream can be used morning and night, though we do recommend focusing the application on areas where cellulite appears such as the upper thigh area as that is where best results will be seen as it is the target focus of the cream.

Conclusion

All these products are great fits to add to anyone’s backbar. Whether you are someone who does body treatments with the accompanying professional products or not – anyone can retail these and help clients during this detox-focused time of year to boost your bottom line. Ensure your client is drinking lots of water, not eating heavy meals and following all lifestyle guidance you give them to ensure the body is being assisted and supported through this process for the most beneficial and noticeable results.
